Leo, Merriam and Gift were the first family who worked in Aeta 1 project. It is located in Cabatuan, Botolan, Zambales. The village has a population of 850. Leo have been ministering there for 10 years while Merriam started last 2002 after their marriage. Since then, different approaches were done to reach the Aetas. More than 20 Aetas were baptized. They have have put up a 20x30 feet church. The walls are not yet done. They have assigned these task to the converts by families. Three of their converts also attended the Evangelism training held in PFM office in Cavite. Lovely was one of these converts and is now applying what she learned with her people group. Some other activities of the missionaries are the Revival Meetings conducted last June and September 2010. An association for SDA Aetas in North Zambales area was formed to strengthen their faith. Natural remedies and other health ministries were also given and conducted by the couple.

At present Aura ladan, Shiela Lumauag, and Lovely dela Cruz have replaced the Gonzagas to continue the work in Cabatuan. Lovely is a native convert who works now as a missionary for her people. The Gonzagas are now assigned to Aeta 3 Project, located in Bakilan Resettlement.
